The commemorative event was initiated by Secondary School No.28 of Vitebsk. The school has been running Belarus' only exposition dedicated to the end of the siege of Leningrad for three years. It unites the Leningrad siege survivors living in the region and beyond.

Grodno, Bialystok plan joint music festival

Grodno and Bialystok might host joint concerts to promote Belarus' and Poland's cultural legacy. Grodno Oblast Governor Vladimir Kravtsov and Poland's Ambassador to Belarus Artur Michalski discussed the organization of a joint music festival on 22 January.

Belarusians of the World festival to feature around 250 participants

The 4th edition of the Belarusians of the World art festival will feature around 250 participants from various countries. The festival is scheduled for 16-20 September. It will take place in Minsk, but participants will also visit other regions on one day of the event.

Belarus' fan zone to operate in Hokkaido at 2020 Olympics

The agreement on one more fan zone was reached at a meeting between Belarus' Ambassador to Japan Ruslan Yesin and Noboribetsu Mayor Haruichi Ogasawara. The island of Hokkaido will host the Olympic marathon and race-walking competitions.

Festival of National Cultures in Grodno due on 5-6 June

The festival will feature representatives of 35 ethnicities. During the festival, various ethnicities demonstrate their cultures to visitors of the event. This year there may be a new event, namely a friendship party.
