Belarus' central bank expects slight decrease in gold, forex reserves by year end

Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves have increased by $1.7 billion since the beginning of the year. The NBRB spokesman attributed the growth primarily to the favorable situation on the home forex market and growing prices for gold on the international market.

The businessman said: “If we talk about the overall volume of investments, $618 million has been invested already. Another $400 million will be injected next year. The entire investment will reach $2 billion. We have three years left to build things. It means $400 million will be invested per annum.”
