Investments in China-Belarus industrial park over $520m

A total of $526.4 million was invested in the project from its start to December 2019. The budget expenses made up 4.5%, or $24.5 million. These funds were used to build a public road, a fire depot, a communication network and a gas supply network to the park's borders.

Russia, Belarus set gas prices for January, February

Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Aleksei Miller and Belarus Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Semashko signed the protocol on gas prices for the Republic of Belarus for January and February 2020, the statement reads.
Belarusian truckers get more permits for trips to Poland

The Transport and Communications Ministry intends to get in touch with government agencies concerned to step up oversight over how Belarusian truckers use the permits. Proposals will be prepared to amend and expand the guidelines on distributing and using permits for international transportation by road.

Ukraine, Russia reach gas transit deal

The contract provides for Russian gas transit via Ukraine after 31 December 2019. It will be valid for 5 years with the possibility of extension for another 10 years on similar terms. Russia has pledged to ship 65 billion cubic meters of gas via Ukraine in 2020 and 40 billion cubic meters annually from 2021 to 2024.

Belarus' external state debt down 1.8% to $16.6bn

As of 1 December 2019, Belarus' state debt totaled Br43.7 billion, down Br1.7 billion or 3.6% from the beginning of the year.

Belorusneft-Siberia to expand cooperation with major Russian oil businesses

There are plans to expand cooperation with Gazpromneft Group in 2020 in the spheres of production drilling and sidetracking. An agreement on production drilling has been reached with Rosneftegaz Company.
