Belarus' external state debt down 1.8% to $16.6bn

As of 1 December 2019, Belarus' state debt totaled Br43.7 billion, down Br1.7 billion or 3.6% from the beginning of the year.

Belorusneft-Siberia to expand cooperation with major Russian oil businesses

There are plans to expand cooperation with Gazpromneft Group in 2020 in the spheres of production drilling and sidetracking. An agreement on production drilling has been reached with Rosneftegaz Company.

Second Belarusian potash mining company builds artesian wells

Six artesian wells as deep as 140m as well as pump stations at each well are ready to supply water. A road to the wells has been built as well as a water conduit to deliver water to the mining and processing factory. Apart from that, two reservoirs to store purified water and supply water for fire extinguishing are ready.

A negative trend remains: there are employers that pay low salaries. “We have about ten enterprises where salaries are below Br400 and 336 enterprises with salaries below Br500. We are watching them,” Dmitry Krutoi noted. Work to resolve the problem will continue in 2020.

The site is located in Purovsk District, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, Russia. It is adjacent to the northern border of the Izvestinsky licensed site Yangpur Company is already developing.

Belarus to reduce oil export duties on 1 January

On 1 January 2020 Belarus will reduce customs duties on oil and petroleum products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision was formalized by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No.918 of 27 December.
