Belarusian Finance Ministry eager to introduce depository bonds

Aleksei Krasinsky reminded that there are plans to pass legislation to introduce the term “qualified investor”. Once it is done, the market will be offered a new tool – depository bonds. In his words, the new tool will be the riskiest one, yet it will offer the simplest way of entering the market.

As Belarus Agriculture and Food Minister Anatoly Khotko stated earlier, the new supply balance sheets will provide for some growth over 2019. “We are set to increase supplies both from Russia to Belarus and vice versa,” the minister noted.

Chinese construction companies are ready to buy Belarusian timber products via the commodity exchange. Export of Belarusian timber to China via the commodity exchange was in focus of the talks between the BUCE and a business delegation of China on 20 December.

China transfers ¥3.5bn loan to Belarus

The Belarusian Finance Ministry and the Shanghai branch of the China Development Bank signed the term loan agreement in Shanghai on 16 December. In line with the agreement the Chinese side transferred the loan to the tune of ¥3.5 billion to Belarus on 20 December.

Belarus, China accreditation services to expand cooperation
