This is a standard practice for us already. Raiffeisen Bank participated in the debut placement of eurobonds. We successfully floated eurobonds twice and raised $2 billion. The Development Bank tapped into the eurobond market. Raiffeisen Bank was involved in all the transactions,” said Finance Minister Maksim Yermolovich.

Belarus' agricultural export to France up by 29.9% in January-September 2019

Belarus Agriculture and Food Minister Anatoly Khotko met with Ambassador of France to Belarus Didier Canesse. The parties discussed expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation in agriculture and food, in particular, in cattle breeding, horticulture, and sanitary and veterinary control.

"Earlier we sold beet pulp through intermediaries, but from now on we will supply beet pulp to China directly. I think that we will ship the first batches of beet pulp to China under direct contracts by the end of the year,” First Deputy Chairman of Belgospishcheprom Igor Shustov said.

Russia lifts restrictions on Belarusian bone-in beef supplies

In the spring of 2019, Russia's food quality watchdog introduced temporary restrictions on the import of bone-in beef and cattle from countries that do not have an official spongiform encephalopathy status of the World Organization for Animal Health, including Belarus.

Cheese accounts for over a third of Belarus' dairy export

In January-August 2019, Belarus exported over $1.5 billion worth of dairy products, which was up by 14% year-on-year. In 2018, Belarus' export of dairy products came at $2 billion, which accounted for 60% of the total dairy output and 39% of the total food export.
