Belarus to restrict sale of tobacco-free chewing products containing nicotine

So far, sale of these products is not regulated by the country's legislation. The Belarusian Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade proposed a ban on sale of nicotine-containing chewing products to minors, in markets and on the internet, as well as on their in-store display.

Central bank explains inflation slowdown in December 2019

The year-on-year core inflation has been decelerating for the past four months, the review reads. In December 2019 it dropped to 3.5% (3.7% in November 2019). This mostly came on the back of price deceleration for foodstuffs.

Belarusian scientists to present bioprinter in Dubai

Expo 2020 is scheduled to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 20 October 2020 through 10 April 2021. As many as 190 countries have already confirmed their participation in the forum. The organizers expect to welcome over 25 million visitors.

Belarusian Finance Ministry considering floating $1-1.2bn worth of eurobonds in Q1 2020

The official said: “Everything proceeds on schedule. We expect we will be able to float eurobonds soon. However, we will become technically ready to float them in Q1 2020. We will have to evaluate the advisability of floating them depending on the state of the market.”
