MINSK, 13 September (BelTA) – A school offering a Chinese language program may be built in Orsha. This matter was discussed during a working visit of Belarus Deputy Economy Minister Yelena Perminova to China, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
Yelena Perminova took part in meetings between Belarusian Ambassador to China Kirill Rudy, Qingdao Party Secretary Wang Qingxian and heads of the Qingdao Municipal People's Government. The parties discussed possible ways to enhance interregional cooperation, including further boosting Belarus-China trade and export of Belarusian products, education and travel services, launching a direct flight between Minsk and Qingdao and opening a school offering a Chinese language program in the Belarusian city of Orsha.
During her visit, Yelena Perminova gave a report at the Belarus-China transboundary digital trade forum in Qingdao. The Belarusian delegation showcased export potential of enterprises, studied the main tendencies of transboundary digital trade development in China and operation of e-commerce platforms. The delegation visited Qingdao cross-border e-commerce pilot zone to explore possibilities and algorithms of work of Belarusian enterprises at e-commerce platforms of China.
In Beijing, Yelena Perminova also met with Vice Chairman of China International Development Cooperation Agency Deng Boqing to consider new technical and economic assistance projects and with Director of the Foreign Cooperation Department of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce Li Xiaobin to discuss projects to build a national football stadium and a world-class swimming pool in Minsk.
Moreover, China International Development Cooperation Agency signed a cooperation agreement with Belarus aimed at developing the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.
