However, in order to cast away any doubts about our respect and trust in the president, I wrote a letter of resignation and handed it to the president for introduction to Parliament,” he said on Facebook.

Belarusian foreign minister meets with OSCE's new representative in contact group on Ukraine

Heidi Grau was in Minsk for this year's first negotiations on resolving the conflict in Ukraine, which took place on 16 January. The Swiss diplomat was appointed special representative of the OSCE chairperson-in-office in Ukraine and in the trilateral contact group in late 2019.
