According to the Belarusian embassy in Sweden, Vladimir Makei is expected to attend a high-level meeting to mark the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership and hold a number of bilateral meetings.
Oleg Kravchenko laid out Belarus' position on the pressing issues of international and regional security, on the country's interaction with the European Union and the United States and on the bilateral relations with Poland.
Mikhail Myasnikovich thanked the ambassador for services to the Belarusian-Iranian cooperation. During Mostafa Oweisi's time as ambassador, the two countries have built up inter-parliamentary and achieved good results.
Issues related to the preparations for the event were talked over in Beijing on 4 November. The parties also discussed the implementation of the agreements reached at the meetings between Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and China President Xi Jinping this year.
The Belarusian diplomat criticized the work of the Human Rights Council pointing out to some persistent issues in its activities: politicization and double standards, absence of impartial evaluation of human rights situations in various countries.
The parties discussed a range of issues of the Belarusian-Sudanese cooperation in the political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other fields, and some matters of the regional and international agenda. The parties welcomed a high level of Belarusian-Sudanese cooperation and reaffirmed the readiness to expand, the press service said.
