MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has approved the appointment of new heads of five districts, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko highlighted the main areas of their activities - from agriculture to the payment of salaries at enterprises. All requirements remain unchanged, the president stressed.
“We have to finish the harvest campaign on a good note. I would like to see that those who earn good money get it next year (and we have already started to take this exam). We need salaries to grow. The dynamics here is a must.” At the same time, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that the money should be earned
“The districts you have been appointed to head are good districts where you can show good results. You represent the new generation. I would like this generation to take root and to grow to create competition in the positions of ministers, governors, government members. As president, I cannot step down without bringing a new generation into power,” the head of state noted.
Anatoly Gaponik will take up the post of chairman of the Buda-Koshelevo District Executive Committee after working in a similar position in Lelchitsy District.
In turn, Lelchitsy District will be led by Sergei Kosinsky, the current chairman of the Lelchitsy District Council of Deputies.
Shchuchin District and Lida District will also see some rotation. Chairman of the Shchuchin District Executive Committee Sergei Lozhechnik will be transferred to a similar position in Lida District. The vacated post of the head of Shchuchin District will be taken by First Deputy Chairman of the Shchuchin District Executive Committee Aleksei Sadovsky.
The head of state also approved the appointment of Andrei Zhailovich as chairman of the Soligorsk District Executive Committee. Until now, he worked as the head of the administration of Moskovsky District of Minsk.
