MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to workers of customs bodies who celebrate their professional holiday – Customs Inspector's Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“You are the first persons to welcome the guests of our country. By fulfilling your duties with great professionalism, you shape a positive image of Belarus. By preventing illegal trade, creating civilized conditions for international trade, you make a big contribution to ensuring public security and protecting the economic sovereignty,” the message of greetings reads.
The president expressed confidence that workers of customs bodies will continue to fulfill their duties with honor and dignity, successfully solve responsible tasks in the best interests of the state relying on the experience of predecessors and constantly improving forms and methods of control.
