Sabalenka defeats Riske to defend Wuhan title

Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, the defending Wuhan champion, reclaimed the trophy as she beat American Alison Riske. The World No. 14 closed out a 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 win for her first title since January. This is her fourth career WTA title.

The Belarusian scored a total of 456.9 points to grace the podium in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women. Gold went to Nina Christen of Switzerland (460.6 points). Bronze was collected by Norway's Jenny Stene (444.9 points).
