Belarus ready to consider hosting any IOC events

At the meeting in Warsaw we discussed a possibility to expand cooperation in professional sport. After consultations with the Belarusian sports community we made up our mind to consider hosting any events under the aegis of the IOC, Viktor Lukashenko said.

Three medals for Belarus at Nations Women's Cup in Serbia

Belarusian Yekaterina Kovaleva defeated Russian Kristina Tkacheva in the final 3-2 to win the gold in +81kg. Bronze medals were collected by Belarusian Yulia Apanasovich (51kg) and Viktoryya Kebikava (75kg).

Belarus win 5 medals at Ahmet Comert Memorial in Turkey

Dzmitry Asanau, the winner of the 2nd European Games 2019, claimed a gold medal in the men's 63kg event. The athlete secured two victories before the final where he did not have to fight as his opponent, Tugrulhan Erdemir of Turkey, withdrew due to an injury.

The Belarusian experienced cyclist scored a total of 156 points winning every event of the omnium program. Hanna Tserakh scored 141 points. Third was Portugal's Maria Martins (132 points).
